New Tony Hawk game: License to Suck

Stringing together combos in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 was one of the purest, most satisfying video game experiences I’ve ever had. It had elements of old and new gaming and it was just fucking perfect.

But, while game review scores are subjective, I’m inclined to assume I’m going to hate a game a “big two” site scored 3.5 out of 10.

Too bad; Tony Hawk Ride (with a skateboard peripheral the gamer actually stands on) looked kind of promising.

But here’s the thing about ride—I listened to a podcast awhile back, in which one of the Ride developers of the game distinctly said it was great… what gives? *shock*
